Port Wakefield Road opened following serious crash

Police are investigating a serious crash at Globe Derby Park last night.

Just before 8.30pm on Wednesday 11 September, police were called to Port Wakefield Road and Globe Derby Drive after a motorcycle travelling south along Port Wakefield Road crashed with a utility.

The rider, a 39-year-old man from Parafield Gardens, was taken to the Royal Adelaide Hospital in a critical condition.

Major Crash Investigators attended the scene to examine the circumstances surrounding the crash.

Port Wakefield Road was closed for several hours for southbound traffic but has since been reopened.
