Three drivers have been caught drug driving over the weekend
Just after 2pm, Friday 9 August, a vehicle was detected travelling at 118km/h in a 110km/h zone on the Sturt Highway at Lowbank. The driver was stopped and submitted to a drug test which returned a positive reading for cannabis. The driver, a 23-year-old woman was issued with a 3-month loss of licence. Her results will be sent for Forensic Analysis.
Just before 3pm on the same date, a vehicle was stopped on the Princes Highway at Tailem Bend and submitted to a drug test which returned a positive result for cannabis. The driver, a 24-year-old man from Morphett Vale was issued a 3-month loss of licence. His results will be sent for Forensic Analysis.
Just after 8am, Saturday 10 August a vehicle was stopped on Old Swanport Road at Murray Bridge and submitted to a drug test returning a positive result for methamphetamine. The driver, a 43-year-old woman from Murray Bridge was issued a 3-month loss of licence. Her results will be sent for Forensic Analysis.
