A man has been reported for drink driving after crashing at Brahma Lodge last night.

About 8.45pm on Friday 29 November, police were called to Main North Road after reports a car had lost control and hit a tree.

Police arrived and saw the Holden sedan had sustained extensive front-end damage but luckily the driver was not injured.

The driver was submitted to a breath test and allegedly produced a blood alcohol reading of 0.151, more than three times the legal limit.

A 27-year-old man from Tranmere was reported for drink driving and aggravated driving without due care. He was issued with a twelve month instant loss of licence and will be summonsed to appear in court at a later date.
