23 Jun 2016 3:08pm

Today police released images of a suspect allegedly involved in a theft and property damage at Ashford last month.

Just before 3am on Monday 25 April a taxi driver was flagged down by a man on Anzac Highway who wanted to travel to Noarlunga.

The man became aggressive with the driver allegedly breaking off the rear view mirror and smashing the front windscreen of the taxi.

He also allegedly stole the internal camera before running off in a south-westerly direction along Anzac Highway.

The man is described as aged in his mid-30’s, 165cm tall with short brown hair and clean shaven. He was wearing a jeans and a shirt.

If anyone recognises the man in the images or has information that may assist the investigation, please call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or report online at http://crimestopperssa.com.au
