Noise complaint leads to woman being reported

21 Mar 2017 10:52am

A 41-year-old woman from Seaton was reported for using abusive language after being approached by police who requested loud music be turned down.

Police attended an address in Renmark several times between midnight and 2.30am.

The occupants of the address were issued three on-the-spot fines, and on the last occasion, the police removed the speakers under the Environmental Protection Act.

The woman was reported for using abusive language to an authorised officer and will be summonsed to attend the Berri Magistrates Court at a later date.
