Car break-ins reported in Murray Bridge

Murray Mallee Police are urging people to lock and secure their vehicles after receiving recent reports of vehicles being illegally entered.

Between Thursday 14 September and Saturday 16 September a number of vehicles in Murray Bridge were broken into. Cars in Ida Street, Swanport Road, Lachlan Avenue, Amanda Street, Adelaide Road, and numerous vehicles on Bridge Street were targeted.

A variety of items were stolen including mobile phones, iPad, bags, and tools.

Murray Bridge Police encourage vehicle owners to:

  • Lock your vehicles / remove keys
  • Park in well-lit area / lock the garage and carports – along with access doors from garage to house.
  • Remove all valuables from your vehicle
  • Report timely any suspicious behaviour in your area on 131444 for police attendance.
