Riverland man reported for deception

21 Mar 2017 10:10am

A 36-year-old man from the Riverland region has been reported for deception after allegedly failing to send goods after they were purchased from him.

The man placed an advertisement on a website seeking to sell an arc welder for $300.

On 30 January a 62-year-old victim from Newton, in Adelaide’s north-east, paid the asking price and delivery arrangements were made.

It will be alleged the item was never received and the victim reported the matter to police.

The accused has been reported and will be summonsed to attend the Berri Magistrates Court at a later date.
