An Adelaide Hills man has been charged with child sex offences following a joint investigation.
Acting on information from Taskforce Argos (Queensland Police), detectives from the SA Joint Anti Child Exploitation Team (SA JACET), a partnership between SAPOL's Public Protection Branch and the Australian Federal Police, yesterday evening arrested an Adelaide Hills man.
The 31-year-old was charged with persistent sexual exploitation of a child, produce child exploitation material and possess child exploitation material. All offences are aggravated in nature due to the victim and material being a child under 14 years.
The man was bailed to appear in the Christies Beach Magistrates Court on 4 August.
Detective Senior Sergeant Noel McLean, Officer in Charge of SA JACET insists, "Investigations into child exploitation are continuing to stamp out child exploitation and will not be stopped by the COVID-19 pandemic."
