Updated COVID-19 Directions 2020- Cross Border Travel No 19

20 Nov 2020 8:02pm

An update has been made to the Cross Border restrictions in South Australia.

The Emergency Management (Cross Border Travel No 18) (COVID-19) Direction 2020 has been revoked and replaced by the Emergency Management (Cross Border Travel No 19) (COVID-19) Direction 2020. This new Direction comes into effect as of 0001 Sunday 22 November 2020.

The Direction provides updates after South Australia’s Stay at Home period. The changes are minor and restrictions under the previous Direction largely apply.

The following change has been made to the Cross Border Travel Direction in South Australia:

Commercial Transport and Freight Services operators are no longer required to produce to an authorized officer evidence of a COVID-19 test or test result relating to a test undertaken within the preceding 7 days and is not required or in future.

All people travelling to SA must complete the Cross Border Travel Registration form here: https://forms.police.sa.gov.au/Runtime/Runtime/Form/CrossBorderTravel/

It is acknowledged that many restrictions still apply, but they are critical in dealing with the spread of COVID-19.
