Two men arrested at Seacliff Park

10 Oct 2018 6:50am

Police have arrested two men after they were found on a property at Seacliff Park last night.

About 7.45pm on Tuesday 9 October police attended a home on Ocean Boulevard after the resident disturbed a man hiding in the rear yard wearing a balaclava and carrying a torch. The man ran off leaving some tools behind.

A number of patrols attended and set up cordons around the property and searched for the man with the assistance of Dog Operations officers and PD Ruger. One man was found hiding in a shed not long after PD Ruger commenced his search and a second man was located about an hour later.

A 36-year-old man from Morphett Vale was charged with being unlawfully on premises and going equipped to commit an offence. He was bailed to appear in the Christies Beach Magistrates Court on 6 December.

A 41-year-old man of no fixed place was charged with aggravated serious criminal trespass, attempt theft and going equipped to commit an offence. He was refused bail and will appear in Christies Beach Magistrates Court today.
