Police are searching for the driver of a black Commodore following a two car crash on Goodwood Road this morning.
Just before 6.15am on Tuesday 23 February, a police patrol spotted a black Commodore sedan speeding north on Goodwood Road and activated their emergency lights. Moments later the Commodore collided with a white Toyota Corolla at the intersection of Goodwood Road and Dudley Street at Daw Park.
The driver of the Corolla a 40-year-old man from Daw Park sustained non life-threatening injuries in the crash and was taken to the Flinders Medical Centre for treatment. While a passenger in the Commodore a 31-year-old woman from Adelaide was taken to the Royal Adelaide Hospital in a stable condition.
The male driver of the Commodore fled the scene on foot shortly after the crash. Patrols searched the area but the man wasn't located.
The Commodore has not been reported stolen. Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash including searching for the male driver who may have been injured in the collision.
Goodwood Road was closed for most of the day.
