Update: Truck fire at Ki Ki

Emergency crews were called to the Dukes Highway, near Frost Road, at Ki Ki about 11.15pm on Sunday 17 September by reports of a truck fire.

The B-double was parked on the side of the highway, fully engulfed in flames, with the fire spreading to adjacent scrub.

The 61-year-old truck driver from Victoria was not injured.

There were lane restrictions overnight while CFS crews battled the blaze, which keeps reigniting.

The highway was closed in both directions to all traffic however has since re-opened.
