Three teenagers were arrested after police tracked a car stolen from North Plympton this morning.
Police were called just before 5am on 27 November when the occupants of a house in North Plympton were awoken by the sound of their car being stolen from their driveway.
Onboard GPS showed the vehicle was in the Seaton area and Police tracked the BYD station wagon as it headed west on Henley Beach Road where a tyre was successfully spiked. The vehicle then headed north on Military Road and was abandoned in Wald Avenue, Semaphore South.
The occupants of the vehicle ran off.
Police cordoned off the area and Police Dog Axe tracked the suspects through the Glanville golf course to the yard of a nearby house in Park Avenue. The three suspects were found hiding in a bush by PD Axe.
Three boys, aged 15, 15, and 17, were arrested and charged with illegal use. They were bailed to appear in the Port Adelaide Youth Court on 9 January.
The vehicle was towed for forensic examination.
