Shed destroyed in suspicious fire

Police are investigating a suspicious fire at Wynn Vale early this morning.

Just before 2am Tuesday 16 April police and fire crews were called to Hill Ridge Court after reports that a large shed was on fire.

When emergency services arrived the shed containing two cars was well alight, as well as a brush fence at the rear of the property. MFS got to work extinguishing the blaze and were able to bring it under control within about 10 minutes however the shed and contents were completely destroyed.

Fire Cause Investigators attended the scene this morning and believe the fire was deliberately lit. Thankfully there was no damage to neighboring properties and no reported injuries.
