Update: Oaklands Park crash

Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding a serious crash in Oaklands Park this evening.

Just after 5.40pm Thursday 12 July police were called to the intersection of Diagonal Road and Morphett Road after a car and a bicycle collided.

The rider of the bicycle, a 58-year-old Oaklands Park man, was been taken to the Flinders Medical Centre where he remains in a critical condition. The driver of the car, a 18-year-old Hove man, was not injured.

Diagonal Road was closed for sometime while emergency services were at the scene but has since been reopened.
