05 Oct 2017 10:53am

The Sturt Highway has been re-opened following a serious crash at Nuriootpa this morning.

Just before 6.45am, Thursday 5 October, police and emergency services were called to the Sturt Highway under the Sir Condor Laucke Way after two cars collided.

A 41-year-old Nuriootpa woman was taken to the Royal Adelaide Hospital with serious injuries, while the second driver, a 19-year-old Golden Grove man was taken to a local hospital with minor injuries.

The Highway was closed for several hours while emergency services were at the scene but has since been re-opened.
