Two people have died following a fatal crash in the States Far North yesterday.
Just after 11.00am on Friday 26 May, emergency services were called to the Stuart Highway at Mount Willoughby after reports a Holden ute that had been travelling south left the road and rolled.
Sadly the driver, a 63-year-old Mimili woman and passenger, 60-year-old Indulkana man, both died at the scene.
The Stuart Highway was closed between Marla and Coober Pedy while Major Crash Officers were at the scene, but has now been reopened.
The man and woman are the 55th and 56th Life Lost on SA Roads this year compared to 33 at the same time last year.
