A woman has been charged over a crash at Eyre (west of Davoren Park) last night that left a pedestrian with serious injuries.
Just after 10.30pm, Saturday 5 June, police and emergency services were called to Begonia Drive, Eyre after reports a man had been hit by a car in a driveway.
The injured man, 26, from Paralowie, was taken to the Royal Adelaide Hospital where he remains in a serious but stable condition. His injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
The driver, a 32-year-old Eyre woman, was not injured in the collision.
Major Crash Officers attended and examined the scene last night. The vehicle, a white Holden Commodore station wagon, was towed from the scene for further examination.
This evening, Northern District CIB detectives arrested the driver and charged her with aggravated drive cause serious harm, aggravated recklessly cause serious harm and aggravated acts to endanger life. She was refused police bail and will appear in the Elizabeth Magistrates Court tomorrow, Monday 7 June.
Both parties are known to each other.
