A woman has died following a two car crash at Windsor Gardens last night.
Just before 10pm on Saturday 18 March, police and emergency services were called to North East Road after reports a Ford Mustang and a Holden station wagon collided.
The driver of the Holden station wagon, a 40-year-old woman from Windsor Gardens, sadly died at the scene.
The driver of the Ford Mustang, a 22-year-old man from Ottoway, was not injured. Major Crash officers arrested the man and he was charged with causing death by dangerous driving. He was granted police bail to appear in Adelaide Magistrates Court on 31 May.
North East Road was closed for several hours but has since reopened.
The woman's death is the 35th life lost on South Australian roads so far this year. The road toll at the same time last year was 16.
