Update: Serious Crash at West Beach

Military Road has reopened following a serious crash at West Beach.

Police and emergency services were called to Military Road about 10.20am on Monday 10 June after reports of a vehicle colliding with a pedestrian and two cyclists.

The pedestrian a 44-year-old man from Mitchell Park sustained critical injuries in the crash and was taken to the Royal Adelaide Hospital while the two cyclists a 41-year-old man and a 12-year-old boy both from West Beach were conveyed to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Major Crash Officers are investigating whether the driver of the van, a 55-year-old man from Fulham suffered a medical episode prior to the crash.

Military Road was closed between West Beach Road and Africaine Road for several hours but has since reopened to all traffic.
