UPDATE: Woman dies after Stirling crash

A woman has died after falling from her car at Stirling.

Just after 9am on Thursday 10 October, police and emergency services were called to the rear car park of a hotel on Mount Barker Road, after a driver fell out of their car.

The driver and sole occupant, an 80-year-old woman from Piccadilly was treated at the scene by paramedics before being taken to the Royal Adelaide Hospital with life-threatening injuries.

She died in hospital this afternoon.

Her death takes the State’s road toll to 85, compared with 57 at this time last year.

Major Crash officers are investigating the circumstances of the crash.
