Serious crash at North Adelaide

Police are investigating a serious crash at North Adelaide.

About 5pm today (Thursday 23 June), police and emergency services were called to the North Adelaide Railway Station on War Memorial Drive after reports that a cyclist crossing the tracks had been hit by a train.

The 64-year-old West Lakes Shore man suffered serious injuries and was taken to the Royal Adelaide Hospital.

Major Crash investigators attended the scene to assist in the investigation by Public Transport Safety Branch officers.

Trains have resumed operation in the area.
