Road reopened after serious crash at Ninnes

Police are investigating a serious crash at Ninnes in the state's Mid North.

About 8.40pm on Tuesday 6 April, emergency services were called to Upper Yorke Road after reports a Holden sedan had left the road and crashed into a tree.

The driver and sole occupant of the car, a 43-year-old Queensland man, sustained serious injuries in the crash and was airlifted to the Royal Adelaide Hospital for treatment.

Upper Yorke Road was closed to traffic for several hours but was reopened just after 11pm.
