UPDATE: Fatal crash at Mount Crawford

Just before 10.30am on Saturday 21 December, police and emergency services were called to Forreston Road after reports of a collision between a Volkswagen station wagon and a Suzuki motorcycle.

The motorcycle rider, a 69-year-old Mount Barker man was taken to hospital with serious injuries.

Sadly, the man died in hospital today (Tuesday 31 December).

The driver of the vehicle and two passengers were treated for minor injuries. A third passenger was uninjured.

The man’s death is the 90^th life lost on South Australian roads this year.
