A driver has died in hospital following a crash at Kingsford yesterday.
Just before 12.30pm, Wednesday 12 January, patrols and emergency services were called to the Sturt Highway after a Mitsubishi sedan left the road and crashed into a ditch. The driver and sole occupant, a 64-year-old man from Hackham West, was airlifted to the Royal Adelaide Hospital in a critical condition. He sadly passed away this afternoon.
Major Crash attended the scene and investigations are continuing.
The man's death is the second life lost on our roads this year as compared to five for the same time last year.
