Fatal crash at Ki Ki

A young woman died in a crash at Ki Ki last night.

Emergency services were called to a serious crash on the Dukes Highway, Ki Ki about 6.45pm on Friday 26 May.

Two cars and a truck collided.

Sadly, a 19-year-old Keith woman, who was the single occupant of a Mazda station wagon, died at the scene.

The 18-year-old Murray Bridge man who was driving the Holden ute was taken to the Murray Bridge hospital with serious but not life-threatening injuries.

The 35-year-old male truck driver from Burton was not injured.

Major Crash investigators attended the scene and are investigating the circumstances surrounding the collision.

The Dukes Highway was closed but reopened to all traffic about 8.30am on Saturday 27 May.

The young woman's death is the 57th life lost on South Australian roads so far this year.  The road toll at the same time last year was 33.
