UPDATE: Fatal crash at Darlington

Roads have been reopened after a fatal crash at Darlington.

Just after 6.30am today (Wednesday 21 July), patrols and emergency services were called to Main South Road after reports that a motorcycle rider had crashed.

The rider, a 66-year-old Mitchell Park man was taken to hospital in a serious condition, but sadly passed away.

Major Crash officers are investigating the collision, and any witnesses are asked to call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.

The man’s death is the 59th life lost on SA roads in 2021, compared with 52 at the same time last year.
