Road open following serious crash at Chain of Ponds

Police are investigating a crash at Chain of Ponds which has left a man seriously injured.

About 2.15pm on Wednesday 15 May, police and emergency services responded to a crash involving a truck and motorbike on North East Road.

The motorcycle rider, a 58-year-old man from Craigmore, sustained serious injuries in the crash and was airlifted to the Royal Adelaide Hospital for treatment.

North East Road was closed between Tippett Road and South Para Road for several hours while police examined the circumstances surrounding the crash. The road has since been reopened.
