Serious crash at Birdwood

Police are investigating a serious crash at Birdwood.

Just after 5.40pm today (Thursday 30 July) police and emergency services were called to the intersection of Randell and Peake Roads, after reports that a car had collided with a tree.

The driver of the car suffered serious injuries and was taken to the Royal Adelaide Hospital in a serious but stable condition. The passenger in the car suffered minor injuries and was also taken to the RAH.

Major Crash investigators attended the scene, and traffic delays were in place for several hours.

Roads have since been reopened.
