Update: Stolen car used in Tailem Bend robbery

Murray Bridge CIB continue to investigate a robbery at Tailem Bend.

Just before 2.30pm, Saturday 18 June, a 1999 silver Holden Commodore sedan - WNF977, was stolen from an address on Swanport Road at Murray Bridge. Police believe the same suspect entered a service station on the Princes Highway at about 7.45pm armed with a pole and demanded cash. He was then seen to leave in the stolen Commodore with an amount of cash.

The suspect is described as being Caucasian, 180-190cm tall, solid build and wearing a black hoodie with a blue motif on the front, green cargo pants and white sandshoes. He also wore a white and silver surgical mask and had white socks on his hands.

Thankfully no one was physically injured.

Investigators have released an image of the stolen Commodore at the service station and ask anyone who spots the car or knows of its whereabouts, to call the Police Assistance Line on 131444.
