Road toll revised after Marion Road crash

07 May 2019 3:39pm

The death of a man in a crash on Marion Road last month has been determined to be due to a medical issue.

Just before 12.30pm on Friday 12 April, police and emergency services were called to Marion Road near the intersection of Finniss Street after a car crashed into a power pole.

The driver and sole occupant, an 83-year-old Torrensville man, died at the scene.

Major Crash investigators attended the scene.

The death of the man will not be counted on the fatal road toll, which currently stands at 42, compared to 27 at the same time last year.
