Pedestrian hit by train at South Brighton

Police are investigating a fatal crash at South Brighton this morning where a pedestrian was struck by a train.

The collision occurred at the rail crossing on Shoreham Road, South Brighton just before 6.15am on Friday 13 July.

Major Crash and Public Transport Safety Branch officers are assisting the investigation.  Police are preparing a report for the Coroner.

Traffic restrictions have now been lifted, and all train services are back to normal.
