Man stabbed at Elizabeth Downs

Police and paramedics were called to Justinian Street, Elizabeth Downs just before 10pm on Sunday 17 September by reports a person had been stabbed during a large disturbance.

When emergency services arrived, they located a 30-year-old man with life-threatening injuries to his chest and arm.

The Andrews Farm man was taken by ambulance to the Royal Adelaide Hospital and straight into surgery. His condition is now considered stable.

Northern District CIB detectives and crime scene investigators attended and examined the scene and doorknocked the area.

This was not a random incident, with all parties known to each other.

Investigations are continuing.
