Man arrested over robberies in 2012

06 Nov 2019 4:29pm

A man has been charged over four robberies in the metropolitan area, targeting fast food restaurants and a video rental store.

Police will allege that between September and October 2012, a 42-year-old man from Gawler East threatened staff and stole money from three restaurants at Salisbury, Para Hills and Richmond, and a video store at Paralowie.

Further investigations by the Serious and Organised Crime Branch led to yesterday’s arrest of the suspect.

He has been charged with four counts of aggravated robbery, and was bailed to appear in the Elizabeth Magistrates Court on 11 December.

Police continue to investigate serious crimes such as these robberies, and anyone with information that can assist police is asked to call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000, or online at www.crimestopperssa.com.au
