Northern District police have arrested four people over a shooting incident at Gulfview Heights on Thursday.
About 4.45pm Thursday 30 January police were called to a home on Brabham Crescent after reports that a group of people had broken in and allegedly discharged a firearm injuring one of the occupants.
The suspects left the scene prior to police arrival. The victim was taken to hospital with a non-life-threatening leg injury.
As a result of ongoing investigations, Northern District CIB and STAR group officers attended an address at Hendon last night and arresting three men in connection with the break-in and shooting. A subsequent search resulted in the location and seizure of a firearm.
The three men aged 19, 22 and 24, of no fixed address, were all charged with aggravated serious criminal trespass, aggravated cause harm and firearms offences. They were refused police bail and will appear in the Elizabeth Magistrates Court on Monday.
A fourth offender was arrested shortly after by police at Noarlunga Downs. The 32-year-old man of no fixed address was also refused bail and will also appear in the Elizabeth Magistrates Court on Monday.
