11 Jun 2021 5:24pm

Major Crash Investigators have released an image of cars in the hope the occupants may be able to assist the investigation into a fatal crash at Warradale last night.

About 7.40pm Thursday 10 June emergency services were called to Morphett Road, near Sturm Court after a car and a motorcycle collided.

Sadly the rider of the motorbike, a 19-year-old Blair Athol man, died at the scene.

The driver of the car, a 54-year-old Warradale man, was taken to hospital as a precaution.

Investigators today released an image (see below) of three cars at the intersection of Morphett Road and Diagonal Road at Warradale a short time prior to the crash. The drivers and any passengers in a green Mazda 2, a blue BMW and a red Mazda 3, are asked to come forward as they may have information that could assist in the investigation.  Please call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or online at

Checks revealed the motorbike was stolen from Gepps Cross in April.

The man’s death is the 49th life lost on SA roads, compared to 45 at the same time last year.
