A woman has died following a fatal crash at Pooraka last night.
About 10pm Thursday 4 August, police and emergency services were called to Montague Road near Henderson Avenue after two cars, a Hyundai Elantra and a Toyota Camry crashed, resulting in the Hyundai Elantra one of the cars then impacting with a tree.
The driver of the Hyundai, a 31-year-old woman from Renown Park and her passenger, a 40-year-old man also from Renown Park, were both rushed to the Royal Adelaide Hospital in a critical condition. Sadly, the driver passed away a short time later while her passenger remains in a critical condition.
The driver of the Toyota, a 20-year-old man from Ingle Farm, was not injured.
Montague Road was closed for most of the night while Major Crash Officers investigated the circumstances surrounding the crash but was reopened about 5.30am.
