Driver sought after pursuit at Christies Beach

07 Dec 2018 6:28am

Police are looking for a driver following a brief police pursuit at Christie Beach overnight.

Just before 1am on Friday 7 December, police attempted to pull over an unregistered car on Dyson Road, Christies Beach seen leaving a service station.  However, the blue Suzuki took off through the back streets and tried to give police the slip.  The vehicle was seen turning into a dead end street on Morrow Road and the male driver ran off along the creek line, leaving the female passenger in the car.

There were no injuries or damage to any property during the short pursuit.  The unregistered vehicle was towed from the scene. Investigations are continuing to try to locate the driver.

Anyone with information that may assist the investigation is asked to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or online at www.crimestopperssa.com.au
