Update: Seaton business fire linked to recent attacks at Marleston and Mile End

Police investigating a suspicious fire at Seaton overnight have linked the incident to recent fires at Marleston and Mile End and a shooting at Ascot Park.

Just before 5am on Wednesday 14 August, patrols and fire crews were called to a block of three businesses on Clark Terrace after a reports a hair salon was on fire. No one was injured and damage is estimated at around $20,000. Neither of the adjacent businesses have been damaged.

Clark Terrace was closed for several hours but has since reopened to all traffic.

Crime Scene examiners are currently at the fire.
