CCTV of Whyalla hotel robbery

Police continue to investigate a robbery at a Whyalla licensed premises in February and have released CCTV of the incident.

Just before 1.30am on Wednesday 1 February, a man armed with a machete entered the gaming area of a hotel on Gowrie Avenue, Whyalla, and threatened staff.

He stole cash and ran off; last seen heading in a south-easterly direction.  The suspect is described as of Caucasian appearance, aged in his late 20s, with a slim athletic build.

No one was physically injured during the robbery.
