The dark green sedan left the road on Henley Beach Road about 5.30am on Wednesday 11 July and crashed into a  building opposite Clifford Street.

The female driver wasn't injured, however, she drove from the scene before emergency services arrived.

The car damaged four support poles of the verandah.  MFS and SES crews attended to prop up the structure.

The vehicle's registration plate was left at the crash scene and police are making enquiries to locate the driver.
