Man arrested over Lewiston break-in

09 Feb 2019 5:04pm

Police have arrested a man over a break-in at Lewiston following a public appeal for information yesterday.

About 5.40am on Friday 8 February, a man allegedly gained entry to a shed on Gawler River Road. It is not believed that anything was stolen from the shed.

Police released CCTV of the suspect to the public yesterday in a bid to identify the man.

Following information supplied via Crime Stoppers, Barossa CIB Detectives today attended a home at Andrews Farm and arrested a man over the incident.

A 46-year-old man was charged with serious criminal trespass and being unlawfully on premises. He was bailed to appear in the Elizabeth Magistrates Court on 5 March.
