13 Jan 2021 12:10pm

A man has been arrested after an investigation into a robbery at Thebarton yesterday.

Police will allege that just before 9.30pm on Monday 11 January, a man entered a service station on Port Road allegedly armed with a firearm and threatened staff before leaving with an amount of cash.

The victim was not physically injured.

Today (Tuesday 12 January), detectives from Western District Criminal Investigation Branch went to a Croydon Park address and located the suspect.

A 34-year-old Devon Park man will face charges of aggravated robbery, and it is expected that he will be refused bail to appear in the Port Adelaide Magistrates Court tomorrow.
