Update: Trailer and concrete saw stolen from Port Augusta

A trailer and concrete saw stolen from Port Augusta last week has been recovered.

The locked dual axle enclosed trailer, registration YFD799, was stolen from a secure yard on Stokes Terrace, Port Augusta sometime between Wednesday 27 July and Monday 1 August.

The trailer contained specialist concrete cutting equipment along with a Honda generator, Husqvana quick cut, Husqvana ring saw, Weka blue core drill, Makita rotary jackhammer, miscellaneous cutting blades, leads hoses and tools.

Just before 6.30pm, Thursday 4 August, police were called to Warrikimbo Road where the burnt-out trailer was located near a solar farm entrance.

The mag wheels had been removed along with all the hand tools however, the concrete cutting equipment, along with the trailer, was destroyed.
