Jessie reunited with her owners

25 May 2019 7:42pm

The importance of microchipping...

Good news for Jessie the Labrador Cross who has been reunited with her owners.

Eastern District CIB detectives were at a Blair Athol home this afternoon making inquiries into an ongoing investigation.

On arrival, police were greeted by a young Labrador Cross female dog who did not belong at the house.

Further inquiries revealed the occupants had found the dog in Elizabeth and brought her home, without making any attempts to locate the owner.

A ranger from Port Adelaide Enfield Council attended and, fortunately, the dog had been microchipped.  Jessie, a lovely and boisterous 12 month old pup, was able to be reunited with her owners, who are very pleased to have her back.
