Bus assault in Adelaide

Eastern District Police are investigating an alleged assault that occurred on a bus in the CBD last month and have released a picture of the suspect.

About 10.30am on Sunday 21 March, a youth got on to GA2 bus at Salisbury Interchange to travel to Adelaide CBD.  As the bus approached North Terrace in Adelaide, a man who was seated in front of the victim threatened and harassed him.  The man has then stood in front of him and allegedly punched him in his face.

The suspect has then got off the bus outside the Royal Adelaide Hospital.

The suspect is described as being Caucasian in appearance, aged in his 30's, and about 170cm tall.  He was wearing a white t-shirt, black pants a hat and he was carrying a jacket and a backpack.
