Update: Attempt theft Adelaide

Police are investigating after an attempt theft in the city this afternoon.

Just before 1pm on Monday 25 March, patrols were called to a fast food restaurant on Hindley Street after reports a man tried to steal an amount of cash near the counter.

Customers intervened and the man left empty handed.

He is described as being Aboriginal with long wavy black hair and wearing a dark jacket and dark jeans. Police searched the area but were unable to locate the suspect.

No one was physically injured and investigations are continuing.
