Why Risk It?

Neighbourhood Watch SA and SA Police would like to remind everyone to stay safe this Fire Danger Season.

With warmer weather fast approaching, and some extreme heat days forecast for this coming weekend, now is a good time to get outside and tidy up around your property to make sure you’re bushfire ready.

During Fire Danger Season it’s more important than ever to remain vigilant to potential fire risks. So if you undertake any activity which may be a fire risk, please consider the weather conditions and check the restrictions around that activity beforehand by visiting the CFS website.

There are a range of useful bushfire prevention resources, including factsheets, posters and videos, available on the SA Police website.

And remember, if you see any suspicious, reckless or negligent behaviour please report it to SA Police on 131 444.  If you see an active fire, please call Triple Zero (000).  And if you have any information about someone deliberately lighting fires call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or report it online anonymously.
