Volunteer opportunities

With our strong partnership with SA Police, Neighbourhood Watch Volunteers are given the opportunity to join the Police Volunteers Program. SAPOL embraces volunteering as an integral part of community engagement and formal partnerships with the community, in which Neighbourhood Watch plays a key role.

Our Neighbourhood Watch volunteers have opportunities to support events and special initiatives such as the Australia Day Parade and local community events. Under the Police Volunteers Program, the roles and duties of volunteers have been extended into new areas, such as public relations, role players and tour guides.

With many diverse activities undertaken by Neighbourhood Watch throughout South Australia, our committed and supported volunteers truly drive our crime prevention program in many ways. From graffiti removal, traffic marshaling, newsletter delivery and school programs, Neighbourhood Watch has a role to suit almost everyone.

Whether you're looking to commit a few hours each month, or get involved just once a year, Neighbourhood Watch has opportunities for you to help build a safer South Australia.
