People of all ages will be jingling all the way to the Adelaide Town Hall on the evening of Wednesday, 19 December as the iconic Band of the South Australia Police presents their annual Christmas concert
The 33-piece Concert Band will be joined by musical theatre royalty, with Rachael Beck headlining a program filled with classic Christmas carols and an assortment of festive hits. The acclaimed vocal artist and actress is one of Australia’s leading performers, with her outstanding credits including Beauty and the Beast, Les Miserables and Cats. Her versions of well-known classics such as ‘The Little Drummer Boy’ and ‘Do you hear what I hear?’ are sure to showcase her immense vocal talents.
Popular local personality Dorinda Hafner will bring her infectious energy, passion and Christmas cheer to the stage as MC.
The Band’s smaller ensembles and vocalists will also bring some joy to the world of the full house who will be encouraged to sing along to their favourites.
There will also be a guest appearance from the jolly man in the red suit who is sure to ‘sleigh’ them in the aisles with his own brand of Christmas cheer.
The Christmas concert is a great event for the whole family with tickets priced at $25 for adults, $23.50 for pensioners/seniors and $15 for students/children. Tickets for groups of 10+ are $20. Neighbourhood Watch SA members can quote “NHWSA” online or at BASS to receive adult tickets at the discounted price of $21.
